Most requests start with the AIFS Family Assistance Intake Questionnaire or a program registration form. Prefer to talk to someone? Call or visit us during office hours.
Family support
Case management and advocacy
Help with benefits, housing, WIC, healthcare coverage, doctor visits, Social Security applications and school enrollment.
Emergency financial assistance
Temporary, one-time assistance for eligible individuals and families, based on program guidelines and proof of documentation.
Employment services
Résumé and interview preparation, job search help, pre-screening and job placement support.
Health and wellness
Free health screening
Preventive screenings, results explained and referrals. No insurance needed; walk-ins accepted.
ProMoCare for expectant and new parents
Baby Bag for All, the ProMoCare Boutique, home safety visits and early learning support.
Free car seat check
Certified technicians check installation and fit and teach child passenger safety.
Counseling and mental health
Culturally based counseling, crisis support, mediation and wellness groups.
Learning, language and youth
English and computer classes
Practical ESL for everyday life and essential digital skills.
Driving education and citizenship preparation
Prepare for permit and driving tests, or for the naturalization interview and test.
Interpretation and translation
Trusted interpreters and translation for medical appointments, school meetings and documents.
Youth programs
STEM, tutoring, mentoring, languages, arts, sports and early learning for ages 3–18.
